Can Hair Oil Make Hair Grow?
No oil is a magic hair-growth cure. Some oils can help hair feel soft, smooth, or shiny. That does not mean they make new hair grow.
A: Pumpkin Seed Oil
There is some human research on pumpkin seed oil. But an often-cited study had people take it by mouth. It did not test pumpkin seed oil rubbed on the scalp. So that study does not prove that putting it on your scalp grows hair.
B: Black Seed Oil
Black seed oil has some research and a long history of use. ToxiTress™ does not say it treats scalp disease or hair-loss conditions.
C: Oils That Can Help Hair Feel Nice
Coconut, babassu, jojoba, argan, almond, avocado, and fenugreek may help with softness, slip, shine, or less rubbing. That is different from growing new hair.
D: Not Much Strong Human Hair-Growth Proof
Olive, emu, grapeseed, amla, moringa, hemp seed, and black currant oils do not have strong human proof that they reliably grow hair.
F: Batana and Castor Oil for Hair-Growth Proof
These oils are popular, but popularity is not proof. They can still have useful cosmetic jobs, such as helping with softness or sealing in moisture.
These grades are about hair-growth proof. They are not grades for softness, shine, or other cosmetic uses.
Use Oil the Smart Way
More oil is not always better. Oil can sit on top of buildup. Clean your scalp when it needs cleaning, then use moisture products as directed.
What If Hair Loss Keeps Happening?
If hair loss does not stop or you do not know why it is happening, a qualified healthcare professional may be able to help find the cause. A cosmetic oil cannot diagnose the reason.
